What Does the SAFU Badge Mean on PinkSale? The Criteria

PinkSale's SAFU badge marks a KYCed project whose contract a listed SAFU developer held for 7 days. The criteria, and which a buyer can check.

By Staff, Presale Press

On PinkSale, the SAFU badge means a project has done KYC with PinkSale, doxxed its team, and handed contract ownership for at least seven days to a developer on PinkSale’s SAFU list, while meeting published rules on taxes, minting, liquidity locks and early token releases. PinkSale grants it; the pages read here name no later compliance check.

This is an evergreen explainer. This desk read PinkSale’s SAFU Contract page, its Trending, KYC, Audit Partners and Based Badge pages on 3 October 2026. The SAFU page’s footer read “Last updated 1 year ago”, so this is PinkSale’s documented standard, not a reading of any token.

What does the SAFU badge mean on PinkSale, criterion by criterion?

PinkSale’s own definition is that a SAFU project “cannot be manipulated by the developer to hurt investors”. That is the vendor’s claim; the right-hand column below is this desk’s reading, not PinkSale’s.

SAFU criterion, as publishedCan a buyer check it?
KYC and doxx with PinkSaleTrust: identity documents stay with PinkSale
SAFU developer holds ownership 7 days minimum, pauses trading until listingPartly: the owner address is on-chain; who the developer is rests on PinkSale’s list
Owner cannot mint, pause trading, set max transaction below 0.1% or max wallet below 1% of circulating supplyOn-chain, in readable contract code
Tax at most 10% each side; no tax increase in first 7 daysOn-chain
Liquidity locked at least 365 days, at least 60%On-chain, in the lock record
No unlocks or airdrops for 30 days from listing; private-sale tokens may be sent from launch in capped tranchesOn-chain, but only after the fact
Listing rate equals sale rate; private-sale bonus at most 10%On the sale page
Audited by “a trusted partner”; no proxy contractsThe report is readable; its quality rests on the auditor

None of the five PinkSale pages read on 3 October 2026 states who checks these criteria once the seven-day ownership window closes, or whether a badge is withdrawn after a breach. The SAFU page also carries an unexplained “Saul Pink” referral-discount line. A lock is only as long as its record says, a point set out in our reading of what a lock contract proves.

How does SAFU compare with PinkSale’s other badges?

  • KYC: PinkSale verified an owner’s ID; it costs $700. The KYC page says KYC and Doxx badges are not an endorsement or recommendation by PinkSale.
  • Doxx: free after KYC, for a public YouTube AMA. It certifies a face, not conduct.
  • Audit: shown only for reports from PinkSale’s partner list. An audit badge is not a safety rating.
  • Based: a track record of earlier PinkSale launches, judged by PinkSale’s Elite Group.

The Trending page adds the commercial context: SAFU earns a project the highest priority for PinkSale’s top-12 list. The badge is a safety label and a marketing input at once. Sale formats are set side by side in our fair launch and presale comparison.

FAQ

Does the SAFU badge mean a PinkSale token is safe? No. It means PinkSale says the project met a published list of contract and tokenomics rules at launch, under a developer on its list. It certifies nothing about the team’s later conduct, the token’s price or the project’s survival, and the SAFU page we read does not say how a breach is handled.

What gives a project the highest priority for trending? PinkSale’s Trending page answers that directly: the SAFU badge gives the highest priority, followed by KYC plus Audit badges, with buy volume also a key factor and Doxx adding points. The page says trending is free and not guaranteed, and calls anyone selling paid trending a scammer.

What’s the core meaning of the Based Badge? PinkSale’s page says it marks a presale-only project whose team has launched at least two earlier PinkSale projects showing what it calls significant price growth and strong volume, with automated DEX listing, approved by a vote of its internal Elite Group. Its own FAQ says the badge does not guarantee success.

A badge narrows some risks and names who to blame for others; it does not remove any. We cover the market; we do not participate in it, and nothing here is a view on any token. Crypto assets are high risk.
