Token launches, risk first

Presale Press

How we work

Editorial Policy

This page describes how Presale Press produces its coverage. It is written to be held against us.

How reviews are done

We review venues, tools, and infrastructure — never individual token sales as things to buy. Where a platform or tool can be used first-hand, we use it before writing. Where access is restricted — by geography, by KYC, or by the simple fact that we do not participate in the sales we cover — we work from documented sources: published terms, official documentation, and the public record, and we say in the piece which is which. Specifics are hedged honestly: "as of this writing", "the company says", "the published terms state". We never invent quotes, statistics, or test results.

What our scores mean

Scores run to ten and are judged against what the thing claims to be, not against perfection. A score in the sevens means the thing does its stated job with real limitations we enumerate; the eights are reserved for things we would rely on ourselves; we have yet to meet a nine, and we do not award tens on the theory that everything can fail in a way its makers have not imagined. A high score for a venue or tool is never a judgment on any token sold through it — every review lists genuine cons, because everything we have ever reviewed has had them.

Disclosure practice

Presale Press is commercially supported. Some links may earn us affiliate commissions or advertising revenue; any paid or affiliate link is marked as sponsored, and any sponsored post carries a disclosure at the top, in the same layout as everything else. Sponsors buy placement, never conclusions. We hold no position in any asset we cover, and we do not link to presale or token-sale pages at all.

Bylines

Reviews are signed by the editor, Marta Keller. News items publish under the house byline Staff, Presale Press, maintained by the site's editorial team — a disclosed house byline, not a person, and we would rather tell you that here than have you discover it.

Corrections

We correct errors plainly and note the correction in the piece. If you believe we have published something wrong — a fact, a date, a characterisation — please tell us via the contact page; corrections requests go straight to the editorial desk and are read by a person.
